Making top quality beginners working sled dog 3 wheeled rigs (or known as Siberian Husky rigs) in mild steel tubing built in their factory not in a workshop, to an amazing quality. Ideal for competing in working rallies, or just for fun as they are built to all the sled dogs racing clubs specifications, such as the Siberian Husky club of Great Britain (SHCGB) and Alaskan Malamute Working Association (AMWA) for all their competitions. The surface finishing technique we use is 'powder coating', where the powdered paint is electrostatically charged and blasted onto the rig, then placed into the oven and the powder particles melt and coalesce to form a continuous film. We then give them optimum cooling time to make sure the finish is strong and long lasting.
'Beginners' rig
After some long hard thinking, weve decided to adjust our rigs and keep it simple! a beginners sled dog rig will last you many years and has everything you need for competing all over the country and training your sled dog. An example of one of a sturdy racing rig below: V-brakes and deep tread tyres. I have used the rig below for the past 4 years with this braking system and haven't had any problems with it, and also came 2nd in my last competition. We are redesigning the dog rig, hence the loooonnngg delay in manufacture. After some market research at a training ground we discovered that there can be some tweaking done. We discovered that if they are slightly narrower they can then fit in the side doors of vans without compromising stability, and open up the foot section giving a larger scooting area. The foor pedals are slightly narrower also without compromising the safety of your feet. Less metal also equals a slightly lesser weight for your dogs to pull.

The extra £15 in total is the added pay pal fee to cover our costs. An invoice via email will be sent at the end of every month with the amount paid and also the remaining balance. Please note: We are forever trying to improve our design and will be making slight adjustments, such as an extra loop for different heights to connect your dog to the rig, in case you have a larger sled dog or breed. Also we are looking at the weight and will slightly change the structural design. More photos over the next few weeks will show this. But we need to make you aware of this and it will only be of a benefit to yourselves. We have shortened our manufacturing time to approximately 5 weeks from 3 months, so we can get you racing as fast as we can!
We don't sell any gang-lines or racing harnesses, we have plenty of friends who do and will send you a link to their site on purchase. They have some fantastic products and will ensure you get exactly what you need and what will fit perfectly. :)
The harnesses and belts we sell are for walking and hiking etc only and will NOT withstand the pulling of great weight in working, nor will they even the weight distribution on the dogs back. Thanks
