**We are re-designing our trailtrainer due to a slight issue we have with un-trained dogs, we want to iron as many out as we can before production starts.** Introducing the New and exciting ‘Trail-Trainer’ The trail-trainer is adaptable and can have more than one dog attached unlike the side of bike attachments and also allows even muscle building and tone. We have many friends and family with different breeds of dog, KC registered or not, who love to be out and about with their furry family member, regardless of their purpose whether its serious competional needs or just a need for an attachment that simply fastens firmly and safely to the front of the cycle, we think you can enjoy this gadget.
Please note: We do not intend this training information to be a rule of thumb, and 'the' way to train sled dogs to be successful in the competition field. We are simply stating what has worked for us to get our dogs fit and active and enjoy the physical and mental challenge. The photo above was taken showing one of the dogs with no front position training, and shows how some will take to it naturally, some may not. Like with any new product to be used with a dog, we suggest using them with gradual exposure, extra people available to help out, tit-bits, praise and time. As with all training use whats best for you and your dog, taking care and attention to all involved. Some clubs offer excellent advice on what could work better for you such as the Siberian Husky Clubs in the UK and Scotland should you need any help and advice in any specialist fields, i.e competition training. This is simply a device created to secure you dog/dogs to the front of a cycle and an alternative to the side of bike attachment. It is no more hazardous than the off road dog scooters, and all gadgets can interfere with the direction of your cycle which is why we recommend training to maximise your pleasure on your cycling outings together. |
